If you love Options, but face it,

You love Options, but face it, it's a tough gig, if you don't know what you're doing. You're bleeding money like some hapless mauled victim in a late night Korean zombie movie, right? Some people mistakenly think trading options is just gambling. If gambling was easier, we'd be hitting the card games and slots, right? The last time I gambled, I was 22 years old and with my wife in a hotel room upstairs with our two kids. I was in Vegas for a huge family reunion.

I kissed my wife good night, and then went downstairs to the casino with a crisp ten-dollar bill. My purpose is to find out that if I'm a gambler with no end in sight?

I've seen family members ask for tips on horses or bet on horse races before. Didn't like it. I never saw my uncles come out ahead when betting on horses. As soon as the elevator doors open, I'm hit by the noise of the casino - it's a fun but serious vibe. Go straight to the craps table; people are going crazy over there.

I asked for change, bet $2.00 on some text on a green felt table, and then the dealer took my chip. I felt weird losing easily, so I walked away. I walked away from a roulette table two bucks poorer.

I used to own and run a litigation support service. Meaning I served summonses and filed court documents.

So those $10.00's, I billed $27.69 at the time to serve a summons locally in LA. I had to chase people around town to serve the summons and subpoenas. We all need to eat right.

I sat down and played video poker, won some money, but then lost it all after an hour.

People were happy and delighted to be there as I headed upstairs. Learned my lesson - everything is best in moderation.
